Persistent Prayer and Humility
Compassion and humility are the bridge that connects us to one another and to God.

In Matthew 7:7-11, Jesus encourages us to ask, seek, and knock, promising that God will respond to our persistence. These verses highlight the importance of humility in our relationship with God, particularly in prayer. Jesus teaches that our persistence in prayer is not about changing God's mind but about conditioning our hearts to humbly wait and receive His will.
Divine delays do not indicate reluctance on God’s part. Instead, these delays teach us patience and test the intensity of our desires. In our persistence, we learn humility, recognizing our deep dependence on God.
