"Do Not Worry"
Reading: Matthew 6:25-26 (ESV)
“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
Devotional:
Worry is a common human experience. However, Jesus calls us to a higher way of living. He asks us to consider the birds of the air. They do not toil, yet God provides for their needs. If God cares for the birds, how much more will He care for us, His beloved children?
Anxiety often arises when we feel that we must take control of our lives and ensure that all our needs are met. But this mindset leads to unnecessary stress and a failure to trust in God’s provision.
