"Seek First the Kingdom"

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Devotional:
Jesus’ command to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness is a call to reorder our lives. It is an invitation to prioritize God’s will above all else. When we seek God’s kingdom first, we align our lives with His purposes. This means making His values our values and His priorities our priorities.
In a world that often encourages us to seek comfort, success, and security, Jesus’ words stand in stark contrast. He promises that if we put God’s kingdom first, everything else we need will be provided. This is not a call to neglect our responsibilities but rather to trust that as we prioritize God’s will, He will take care of our needs.
