Reading: Romans 12:15 & Ecclesiastes 3:4

The Church’s Response To God’s Grace is to Love and Serve its Local Community Unconditionally.

Devotional:

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." This simple verse has profound implications for how we engage with our community. It calls us to genuine empathy, to enter into the emotional experiences of others, whether joyful or sorrowful.

In our individualistic society, it's easy to become isolated in our own experiences. But God calls us to a deeper connection with those around us. This empathy isn't just about feeling what others feel but about being present with them in their moments of joy and sorrow.

Think about your recent interactions. Have you genuinely rejoiced with someone in their success, or have you felt envy? Have you allowed yourself to weep with someone in their pain, or have you kept emotional distance? Have you connected with those in your community who have celebrated or mourned?
