In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and exhausted. We often equate busyness with productivity and success, forgetting that God designed us with a need for rest. Today’s passage reminds us that true wisdom leads to security, peace, and sweet sleep.
One repeated theme in Proverbs is that wisdom essentially means trusting God. Trusting Him keeps us from taking matters into our own hands and helps us avoid the constant state of being "out of breath." We are wired to rely on ourselves, often to our detriment, drifting away from God's presence, power, and peace. However, Proverbs 3:21-26 invites us to embrace God's wisdom and trust Him with our lives, providing security and peace that self-reliance never can.
