Friday Devotional: Leaving the Miracle to Follow the Master

Luke 5:11

And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him. Luke 5:11

After the greatest catch of their careers, Peter and the others walked away from the miracle. Why? Because Jesus was more valuable than the blessing He provided.

Leadership in the kingdom requires sacrifice. It asks: Will you follow even if it costs you something? Can you walk away from success, security, or comfort to step into calling?

The real miracle isn’t the fish. It’s the following.

Key Truth: The true test of leadership is not what you gain, but what you're willing to leave behind.

Prayer: Jesus, give me the courage to leave behind the good so I can follow You into the greater.
