Devotional:
In John 17, Jesus prays for His disciples and all future believers—that’s us! He desired that we would be unified, reflecting the love that He has for the Father and for us. This unity is crucial, as it becomes the evidence of His love to a watching world. Similarly, in Ephesians 4, Paul calls believers to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, urging us to live in humility, gentleness, patience, and love. These characteristics are essential in fostering and preserving unity in the body of Christ.
The church, as Christ's body, is meant to be a place where believers from diverse backgrounds and experiences come together in love.
